The JoyFactory team checked deposit thresholds on licensed and offshore platforms, found out why the same casino is described as “from 10 UAH” in one place and “from 50 UAH” in another, and calculated how much you can realistically take out from such a deposit.

Let us state the limits of our check up front. Minimum deposit casinos list the amount in their cashier rules, but the actual threshold depends on the deposit method, and this is where most discrepancies between lists arise. We tested the card route as the main one and the terminal route separately.

Ranking of casinos with deposits from 50 UAH

Among licensed minimum deposit casinos, a 50-hryvnia threshold is confirmed at two platforms. At the rest the minimum deposit is 100 UAH, the current standard on the Ukrainian market.

Champion Club and Slotor777 are the only licensed 50 UAH minimum deposit casinos we were able to confirm. The other casinos, with a 100 UAH minimum deposit, are included for comparison: they are stronger on other criteria.

This is an important point when choosing. The difference between 50 and 100 hryvnias is one cup of coffee, while the difference in payout speed between Champion Club and First Casino is almost ten hours. If a low threshold is not essential for you, look at other criteria: a 50 UAH minimum deposit casino is not necessarily more convenient than one where the entry point is twice as high.

Why the casino minimum deposit has changed

If you have seen headlines like “casino from 1 hryvnia” or “deposit from 10 UAH”, they were not made up, just outdated. The explanation lies in payment terminals.

Previously you could top up your account in cash via EasyPay or City24 for a very small amount: from 1–2 hryvnias at some operators, and from 10–20 at Champion and Slotor777. The card threshold was always higher.

After restrictions on the use of terminals, this option disappeared. At Champion Club payments via EasyPay and City24 are temporarily suspended, leaving only the card route at 50 hryvnias. That is why the same brand appears in different lists with a threshold of 10, 20 or 50 UAH: the sites simply have not updated their data.

The practical takeaway for readers: go by the card threshold. It is stable, while the terminal threshold depends on whether a particular network is working right now.

Offshore online casinos with a minimum deposit

Here the threshold is often below 50 hryvnias, sometimes drastically so. But none of these minimum deposit casinos holds a PlayCity license, and accounts are kept in foreign currency or crypto, so they have no hryvnia threshold at all.

Exchange rates are approximate and as of the check date. Since the balance is not kept in hryvnias, the converted threshold changes every day. This is a fundamental difference from licensed minimum deposit casinos with a threshold of 50 or 100 UAH.

Can you withdraw winnings from a 50 UAH deposit

This is the key question that low-threshold lists skip. You can deposit 50 hryvnias, but you cannot always take your winnings out.

• Champion Club: deposits from 50 ₴, minimum withdrawal 300 ₴. So you will need to build up winnings at least six times your deposit.
• BC.Game: $15 deposit, $14 minimum withdrawal. The amounts are comparable, but before a payout you have to generate rake equal to 10% of the deposit.
• Stake: there is no withdrawal threshold, but there is a fixed fee: on the minimum cashout it eats up 62.7% in BTC and 67.4% in ETH.
• Licensed casinos with 100 ₴: the minimum withdrawal is usually 100 to 200 hryvnias, so the gap with the deposit is smaller.

The rule is simple: before depositing, look not at the lower deposit limit but at the lower withdrawal limit. A 50 UAH minimum deposit casino with a 300 UAH withdrawal threshold is fine for entertainment, but not for trying to quickly cash out a small win.

Let us work through a specific example. You deposited 50 hryvnias, played well and have 180 on your balance. You cannot withdraw that amount because the minimum is 300. You are left either to keep playing at the risk of losing your winnings or to leave the money in the account. This is exactly what a low entry threshold is built on.

Deposit methods and limits

The range of methods at licensed minimum deposit casinos is narrower than at offshore ones, but all of them are in hryvnias and require no conversion.
