Affiliate disclosure: some links are affiliate links. Operators are scored using the JoyFactory methodology. Positions in the table are not for sale, and the size of casino bonuses does not affect the ranking.
Casino bonus rankings are usually built on percentage size: whoever promises 500% comes first. The JoyFactory team counts differently, by the turnover you will need to make to turn the reward into real money. By that logic, the best casino bonuses look nothing like they do in the ads.
The difference is fundamental. A 575% bonus can look better on paper and turn out worse in practice than a modest 100% with low wagering. Below are the top casino bonuses by the actual cost of wagering, with calculations on specific amounts.
Four parameters stand between the advertised percentage and the real value: wagering, the time limit, the bet limit and the list of games that count towards wagering. We checked each of them on every platform instead of copying figures from a banner.
Casino bonus ranking by real turnover
A position is set by the ratio of reward size, required turnover and time limit. Casinos with bonuses where wagering is lower rank higher even with a smaller percentage, which is why the best casino bonuses rarely match the loudest numbers on banners. Our ranking of casinos with bonuses does not duplicate the general platform ranking: a strong operator can have an awkward promo policy and vice versa.
The best casino bonuses come down to one formula: the reward amount multiplied by the wagering requirement. That is the turnover, the volume of bets you have to place before the money becomes yours. Casino bonuses differ precisely in this multiplier, not in the advertised percentage.
MelBet: 575% turns into 115%
The ad shows the sum of percentages across five separate deposits: 50%, 75%, 100%, 150% and 200%. If you deposit $10 at each stage, your total outlay is $50 and the credited reward is $57.50.
Advertised: 575%
Actual: 115% of the money deposited
Gap: fivefold
1win: 500% gives 125%
The same structure on four deposits: 200%, 150%, 100% and 50%. With four top-ups of $100, a player deposits $400 and receives a $500 reward.
Advertised: 500%, up to 600% for crypto
Actual: 125% of the money deposited
Gap: fourfold
BC.Game: the most expensive turnover
Here wagering is calculated not on the reward but on the deposit and the credited bonus combined, a detail almost everyone misses. Four top-ups of $100 create a required turnover of $39,150, that is almost a hundred times the money deposited.
Size: up to $1600 and 400 free spins
Wagering: x45 on deposit and bonus combined
Turnover: $39,150 for four deposits of $100
Catch: the platform’s in-house games count only 5%
Pinco: a tight deadline and a cashout cap
The welcome package promises 100% up to €5000 and up to 250 free spins, but wagering is x40, and in some versions of the promo it is x50 with a deadline of just 72 hours.
Turnover at x40: €200,000
Turnover at x50: €250,000
Cashout cap: x5–x10 of the credited amount, i.e. €25,000–50,000
Catch: free spins are credited in parts, and a missed day means losing some of the spins
888Starz: four stages and a $5 bet limit
The package is split across four deposits: 100% up to €300, then 50% up to €350, 25% up to €400 and another 25% up to €450, for a total of €1500 and 150 spins. x35 wagering gives a turnover of €52,500, and the deadline for all of it is seven days.
Turnover: €52,500 for the maximum package
Daily load: about €7500 in bets
Bet limit: the equivalent of $5 throughout wagering
Catch: hitting €7500 of turnover a day with $5 bets is physically hard
Stake: no bonus, but rakeback
The only platform in the selection without a classic welcome package. Instead, it returns 3.5% of the casino’s mathematical edge. On $10,000 of turnover in a game with a 1% house edge that is $3.50; in a game with 4% it is $14.
Size: 3.5% of the operator’s edge
Wagering: none
Note: higher rakeback on a higher margin does not make a game more profitable
Sports wagering vs casino wagering
2-in-1 brands give the clearest example of how different profitable casino bonuses and sports offers can be. One operator, the same amount, yet the terms differ several times over.
Mostbet: sports x5, casino x35–x40
Megapari: sports x5, casino x35
22Bet and Linebet: sports x5, casino x35
1win: sports x5 with odds from 3.00, casino x35–x40
Take a $500 reward. With x5 sports wagering the turnover is $2500; with x35 casino wagering it is $17,500. A $15,000 difference for the same amount.
But sports wagering has a condition of its own that complicates everything: it almost always has to be met with accumulators only. Megapari and 22Bet require slips with at least three selections at odds of 1.40 or higher, so the minimum accumulator odds are 2.744. With €20 slips you would need about 31 qualifying bets in seven days.
You do not have to win all 31: wagering counts turnover, not the number of wins. But every bet must meet the terms, and refunded, voided and cashed-out slips do not count towards wagering, so the real number of attempts will be higher than the estimate.
What eats up casino bonuses
Size and wagering are only two of six parameters. The other four decide whether you can withdraw anything at all, and these are what the JoyFactory team uses to select the best casino bonuses when checking each offer.
Wagering period. The most generous casino bonuses give at least a week. At Pinco, with x50 wagering, you get 72 hours for everything, and at CatCasino free spins expire within a day. BC.Game gives 30 days, the most comfortable period in the selection.
Maximum bet limit. At 888Starz you cannot bet more than $5 while wagering, and at Pinco no more than 10% of the credited amount. Exceeding the limit voids the reward together with the winnings.
Cashout cap. At Pinco you can withdraw no more than x5–x10 of the reward: with a €5000 package that is €25,000–50,000, even if your balance is higher.
Game contribution. Slots usually count 100%, while live casino and table games count zero. At BC.Game the platform’s in-house games count 5%, so meeting the requirement on its own titles is practically impossible.
It is also worth checking whether an offer applies to crypto: at 888Starz the Free Bet does not work for crypto deposits, and on some platforms crypto accounts do not take part in the welcome package at all.
Free spins and no-deposit sign-up bonuses
No-deposit casino bonuses and free spins on sign-up without a deposit are the category people search for most often and check least often. The logic is the same as for deposit casino bonuses, but the requirements are usually stricter.
There is one confirmed offer in our selection: BC.Game gives 60 free spins in three sets of 20 with x60 wagering. For comparison, the same platform’s deposit package has x45, so the “free” reward costs more than the paid one.
On the other platforms, no-deposit promo codes appear sporadically for specific campaigns, and they need to be checked in your account, not on the promo page. JoyFactory does not publish promo codes that cannot be verified against the operator’s official terms.
How to do the math yourself
Multiply the amount by the wagering requirement. This is the base turnover: a €300 reward with an x40 multiplier means €12,000 in bets.
Check what the wagering is calculated on. If it is the deposit and bonus combined, as at BC.Game, the real figure will be much higher than the base one.
Divide the turnover by the time limit. €12,000 over seven days is more than €1700 in bets every day. Judge whether that is realistic at your pace of play.
Find the maximum bet limit. €12,000 of turnover in $5 bets means 2400 spins, and that is no longer a question of money but of time.
See how much you can withdraw. The cashout cap may turn out lower than the amount you actually won.
No-deposit sign-up casino bonuses are calculated the same way, only more strictly: at BC.Game the 60 free spins come with x60 wagering, so the turnover requirements are higher than for deposit offers.
FAQ
Which welcome casino bonuses are the most profitable?
The best casino bonuses are the ones with lower wagering, not a higher percentage. A 100% offer with x35 wagering is better than 575% split across five deposits with the same multiplier: in the first case you calculate turnover on one amount, in the second on each stage separately.
Why does 575% turn into 115%?
Because it is the sum of percentages across five separate top-ups, not a bonus on a single deposit. With five deposits of $10, a player deposits $50 and receives $57.50 in bonus funds, an effective reward of 115%.
What is wagering in simple terms?
A multiplier that shows how many times you have to play an amount through in bets before you can withdraw it. Casino bonuses without this condition barely exist. With a €300 bonus and x40 wagering you need to place €12,000 in bets.
Why is sports wagering lower than casino wagering?
Because the math is different: the operator's edge is smaller in betting, so the turnover requirements are lower too. But wagering almost always has to be done with accumulators of at least three selections, and every bet must meet the minimum odds.
Are there casino bonuses with no wagering?
Yes, but they are rare. At JetTon crypto deposits give up to 5% straight to the real balance, and Stake offers rakeback with no turnover requirements instead of a welcome package. Both rewards are noticeably smaller than classic offers.
What happens if I exceed the bet limit?
The reward and any winnings tied to it may be voided. At 888Starz the maximum while wagering is $5, and at Pinco it is 10% of the credited amount.
