Le King is a cluster video slot from Hacksaw Gaming, released on June 26, 2025. It is the fourth game in the Le series: this time Smokey the raccoon turns into Elvis and heads to Las Vegas, renamed Spin City here. The grid is 6 by 5, with Cluster Pays mechanics, three bonus games and four jackpots topping out at x20,000.

The JoyFactory team opened the Le King demo, took apart the jackpot system and the Golden Squares mechanic, compared the return of the bonus buy options and checked the conflicting volatility data. The key difference from the rest of the series is a jackpot that gives a direct path to the maximum.

Pros

  • The Max Win jackpot gives a direct path to x20,000, which is rare for the Le series
  • Four jackpot tiers from x10 to x20,000
  • Clover multipliers apply to all coins on the screen, up to x20
  • 41.33% hit frequency — a win roughly every other spin
  • The return of each bonus buy option is published and can be checked

Cons

  • RTP versions go down to 88.25%, and the operator chooses which one to use
  • The provider declares medium volatility, while the game itself labels it high
  • Mechanically it is mostly a reworked Le Bandit rather than a new game
  • The provider is new to the Ukrainian market, so availability has to be checked
  • No gamble feature

Le King is the strongest slot in the Le series in terms of potential and the only one where the maximum can be reached directly through a jackpot, not just through a rare bonus round. The main caveat concerns the RTP version your operator has set.

Le King slot demo

PLAY
CoinsPlay for real money

Le King is available in demo mode with no registration or deposit. The demo reproduces the mechanics of the real game, including the bonus buy menu, so you can try all four options with play credits.

For this slot, the demo is especially useful. The jackpot system does not work the way players are used to: the markers do not pay out on their own, they are activated by a separate symbol. Seeing this sequence in action is much easier than reading about it.

Also pay attention to the launch screen: it shows the volatility label, and it may not match what review sites say. The demo usually runs in the base RTP configuration, so the real game at your operator may differ.

How we tested

Gameplay of the Le King video slot from Hacksaw Gaming

Le King was tested by Oleksandr Petrov, JoyFactory’s casino author.

The test was carried out in demo mode. We launched the game, took apart the cluster and cascade mechanics, checked how Golden Squares and the clover multipliers work, traced the jackpot activation conditions, opened the bonus buy menu and recorded the declared return of each option.

We did not take any statistical measurements. The 41.33% hit frequency comes from the provider’s data, not from our own counts. Wherever we quote Hacksaw figures, we say so explicitly.

What we checked

Cluster mechanics Confirmed — from 5 symbols horizontally and vertically
Golden Squares Confirmed
Jackpot activation via Neon Rainbow Confirmed
Clover multipliers up to x20 Confirmed
Bonus buy options Four, return recorded
Gamble feature Not found — the game does not have one
Volatility Mismatch between the declared and the in-game label

Le King RTP and volatility

The base RTP of Le King is 96.14%, slightly above the market norm. But Hacksaw supplies the game in several configurations, and the actual value is chosen by the casino.

RTP versions

96.14% Base configuration — recommended by the provider
94.18% Lower version
92.25% Lower version
88.25% Lowest version
Who chooses The casino operator during integration
Where to check The game's info panel at the specific casino

The gap between the top and bottom versions is almost eight percentage points. Formally it is the same game with the same jackpots; in practice, the maths is different. Checking the actual value in the info panel before depositing is a must here.

Le King has an interesting volatility mismatch worth knowing about. In its materials for operators, the provider labels it medium. Yet the start screen of the game itself carries a high volatility label. Review sites are split: some say “medium”, some “high”, and a few authors describe the game as low-to-medium after their own sessions because of the frequent small hits.

What different sources say about volatility

Hacksaw materials for operators Medium
Label on the game's start screen High
Hit frequency according to the provider 41.33% — a win roughly every other spin
JoyFactory assessment based on structure Medium in the base game, high in the bonuses

Our conclusion: there is no contradiction here, just two different characteristics of the same game. The Le King base game really does run smoothly — a 41.33% hit rate means regular small payouts without long dry spells. The jackpots and bonus rounds, however, produce sharp swings, and they are what drives the high volatility label on the start screen.

Clusters and symbols

There are no paylines. A win is formed by a cluster — a group of five or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically anywhere on the 6×5 grid.

After every win, cascades kick in: the symbols disappear, new ones drop from above, and the chain continues as long as new combinations form.

Symbols and payouts

Low-paying (royals) Up to x1 the bet for a cluster of 12 or more symbols
Watermelon, dice, microphone, chips From x3 to x25 for a cluster of 12 or more
Roulette wheel The highest-paying regular symbol
Coins Face-value prizes, multiplied by clovers
Neon Rainbow Activates Golden Squares and jackpots
Scatter Triggers the bonus games — from 3 symbols

Regular symbols pay little. Even the top cluster of twelve gives x25, which is normal for cluster mechanics, where all the value is concentrated in special symbols and jackpots. In Le King, do not count on base combinations as a source of winnings.

Golden Squares and multipliers

Golden Squares is the signature mechanic of the Le series, and here it works together with the jackpots.

  1. Creation. Every winning cluster turns the positions under its symbols into golden squares.
  2. Accumulation. The squares stay inactive and build up over a series of cascades.
  3. Activation. They are revealed by the Neon Rainbow symbol.
  4. Payout. Coins, multipliers, special symbols or jackpot markers appear under the revealed squares.

The clover multipliers in Le King are stronger than in earlier games of the series. Here they multiply all coins on the screen at once, not a single prize. The maximum value is x20.

This is the key to understanding the game: the value lies not in a single coin but in a combination of many coins with a high multiplier. That is why a long cascade sequence matters more than one big hit.

The four Le King jackpots

This is the main difference between Le King and the rest of the Le series, and the reason the slot got the highest score in our selection.

Jackpot tiers

Mini Lowest tier, from x10 the bet
Major Middle tier
Mega High tier
Max Win x20,000 — the slot's maximum

How they work. Jackpot markers appear on the grid, either during a regular spin or under golden squares. A marker pays nothing on its own: it is activated by the Neon Rainbow symbol. Two markers of the same type cannot land in one spin.

Why it matters. In earlier games of the series, including Le Fisherman, the max win can only be reached through the top bonus round, which cannot be bought. In Le King, the Max Win jackpot offers a direct path to x20,000: in theory, you can hit it even in the base game.

That does not make the maximum likely — the provider does not disclose the probability of such an event. But structurally it is more honest than a design where the advertised figure is effectively out of reach by most routes.

Bonus games

Bonus rounds are triggered by scatters, and the level depends on how many land.

Bonus rounds

Spin City — 3 scatters 10 free spins, Golden Squares are kept until activation
Jackpot of Gold — 4 scatters 10 spins, activated squares stay on the grid until the end of the round
Viva Le Bandit — 5 scatters Hidden top round: Neon Rainbow on every spin, only silver and gold coins

Extra scatters during a round award additional spins.

Viva Le Bandit is the most valuable mode. A guaranteed Neon Rainbow on every spin means the golden squares are activated constantly, and limiting prizes to silver and gold rules out cheap drops. This is where the chances of a jackpot are highest.

Le King bonus buy

Hacksaw lets you buy entry into the features and, unlike Lucky Penny or Ultra 7 Hot, publishes the return of each option. This gives a rare chance to compare the purchases mathematically.

Buy options and their RTP

BonusHunt FeatureSpins RTP 96.13% — higher chance of the bonus
Shamrock and Roll RTP 96.31%
Spin City RTP 96.31% — triggers the bonus game
Jackpot of Gold RTP 96.36% — the highest return among the options

Practical takeaway. The best option by return is Jackpot of Gold at 96.36%, which is higher than the Le King base game. The lowest is BonusHunt at 96.13%. The difference is small, but it runs the opposite way from usual: here a more expensive entry does not lower the return, it raises it slightly.

All figures apply to the slot’s base configuration. If the operator has set a lower RTP version, the return on purchases will be proportionally lower.

Comparison with other games in the series

Le King is the fourth game in Hacksaw’s franchise about Smokey the raccoon. The Golden Squares mechanic is shared by the whole series; the theme, the win cap and the extra features differ.

Games in the Le series

Le Bandit The first game, max x10,000, cluster mechanics
Le Pharaoh Egyptian theme, sticky drops and a choice of bonus type
Le Viking Scandinavian theme
Le King Released June 26, 2025, max x20,000, four jackpots — this review
Le Fisherman Released February 5, 2026, max x15,000, no jackpots

An honest word about the game’s origins. Mechanically, Le King is largely a reworked Le Bandit: the same cluster base, the same Golden Squares, the same principle of coins and multipliers. Players looking for fundamentally new mechanics will not find them here.

What is genuinely new is the jackpots and the stronger clover multipliers. They are what raise the cap from x10,000 to x20,000 and make this game the most rewarding in the series in terms of potential.

Compared with Le Fisherman, Le King wins on two counts: a higher maximum and direct access to it through a jackpot. Le Fisherman, for its part, is slightly smoother in the base game.

Where to play Le King for real money in Ukraine

Hacksaw Gaming is a relatively new provider for the Ukrainian market. It is worth checking that Le King is in the casino’s catalog before you register.

Licensed casinos with large catalogs

How to check whether the slot is available

  1. Filter by provider. Find Hacksaw Gaming in the list of providers. No studio means no game.
  2. Search by name. Type “Le King”. The results will also show other games in the series: Le Bandit, Le Pharaoh, Le Viking, Le Fisherman.
  3. Check the RTP version. Open the game’s info panel. The difference between 96.14% and 88.25% is bigger than any welcome bonus.
  4. Bonus buy availability. Check that the Feature Buy menu is active, as some operators disable it.

Why we do not recommend offshore platforms

Le King is also present in the catalogs of casinos without a Ukrainian license. But for this slot, offshore play is especially unfavorable.

The reason is a combination of two factors. First, the slot has RTP versions as low as 88.25%, and no one but the operator itself controls which one it has installed — the Ukrainian regulator does not check offshore platforms. Second, the x20,000 Max Win jackpot at the top bet produces a sum that is guaranteed to hit monthly withdrawal limits.

Our section on unlicensed casinos documents payout caps and delays of up to 45 days. For a jackpot slot like Le King, this means you will not collect a big win in a single payment, and you will not be able to turn to PlayCity.

Offshore operators are rated on a separate scale: the safety ceiling there is about 3.0 out of 10, even with a valid certificate.

The full ranking of licensed operators is on the licensed casinos in Ukraine page.

Final rating

Le King rating

  • Maths (30%) 6/10
  • Win potential (25%) 9.5/10
  • Features (20%) 9.5/10
  • Interface and usability (15%) 8.5/10
  • Availability at licensed casinos (10%) 6/10
Overall 8

The strongest game in the Le series in terms of potential. The jackpot gives a direct path to the maximum, but the casino chooses the RTP version.

Maths — 6.0. The base 96.14% is above the market norm, and the figure alone would deserve an eight. The score is lowered by the range of configurations: the 88.25% version makes Le King a fundamentally different game in terms of value, and the choice is up to the casino.

Win potential — 9.5. x20,000 is the highest figure among the slots we have reviewed, on a par with Lucky Penny. The key advantage is that the Max Win jackpot gives a direct path to this figure, not only through a bonus that cannot be bought.

Features — 9.5. Cluster Pays, cascades, Golden Squares, coins, stronger clover multipliers, four jackpots, three bonus rounds and four buy options with published return. It falls short of a ten only because mechanically it is mostly a reworked Le Bandit.

Interface and usability — 8.5. Bets from 0.10, full mobile optimization, a clear menu explaining the features and a volatility label at launch.

Availability — 6.0. The weakest criterion. Hacksaw Gaming is less widely represented in Ukrainian catalogs than Amatic, Endorphina or 3 Oaks.

Frequently asked questions

What is the RTP of the Le King slot?

The base configuration is 96.14%. But Hacksaw also supplies the game in 94.18%, 92.25% and 88.25% versions, and the casino decides which one to install. The gap between the top and bottom versions is almost eight percentage points, so checking the actual value in the game's info panel is a must.

How much can you win in Le King?

The maximum is x20,000 the bet and is paid by the Max Win jackpot. Unlike other games in the Le series, Le King has a direct path to the maximum: the jackpot can trigger even in the base game, not only in a bonus that cannot be bought.

How do the jackpots work in Le King?

Markers of four tiers appear on the grid: Mini, Major, Mega and Max Win. A marker pays nothing on its own: it is activated by the Neon Rainbow symbol. Two markers of the same type cannot land in one spin. Payouts range from x10 to x20,000 the bet.

What is the volatility of Le King?

There is a mismatch here. In its materials for operators, the provider labels the volatility as medium, while the start screen of the game itself shows a high label. There is no contradiction: the base game runs smoothly with a 41.33% hit frequency, and all the swings are concentrated in the jackpots and bonus rounds.

Which bonus buy option is the best value?

By declared return, it is Jackpot of Gold with an RTP of 96.36%, which is even higher than the base game. Next come Shamrock and Roll and Spin City at 96.31% each, and the lowest figure belongs to BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 96.13%. The difference is small, but here a more expensive entry does not lower the return.

How is Le King different from Le Bandit?

Mechanically, Le King is largely a reworked Le Bandit: the same cluster base and the same Golden Squares. What is new is four jackpots and stronger clover multipliers that apply to all coins on the screen. Thanks to this, the maximum has grown from x10,000 to x20,000.

How is Le King different from Le Fisherman?

Le King came out earlier, in June 2025, has a higher maximum — x20,000 versus x15,000 — and four jackpots, which Le Fisherman does not have. Most importantly, in Le King a jackpot leads to the maximum, while in Le Fisherman only a bonus round that cannot be bought does.

11.09.2026 — first publication of the review. Oleksandr Petrov tested the slot in demo mode: he took apart the cluster and cascade mechanics, how Golden Squares and the stronger clover multipliers work, traced the activation conditions of the four jackpots via Neon Rainbow, recorded the declared return of all bonus buy options and confirmed there is no gamble feature. We also summarized the range of RTP configurations from 96.14% to 88.25% and documented the mismatch between the medium volatility declared by the provider and the high label on the game’s start screen. The next scheduled check is in three months, or earlier if the line-up of casinos offering this slot changes.
