1win Casino is an international gambling platform that has been operating since 2016 and combines a casino, live games, sports betting and its own fast games. The operator links the website to 1win N.V. and MFI Investments Limited, but the brand has no Ukrainian license.

The JoyFactory team checked the legal status, domains, the claimed Curaçao license, bonus terms, game library, payments, KYC, the mobile experience and open complaints about payouts. We did not make a deposit: without a license, a financial test cannot be justified from a safety standpoint.

1win casino offers a large game library, its own crash games, a variety of payment methods and feature-rich mobile clients. However, these strengths do not make up for the main risk: no Ukrainian license and no confirmed, up-to-date Curaçao certificate of the new type.

If an account is blocked, KYC is delayed or a payout never arrives, a Ukrainian player cannot file a regulatory complaint with PlayCity. The dispute will have to be resolved without any Ukrainian protection mechanisms.

What we checked

The check was carried out by Oleksandr Petrov, JoyFactory’s casino author. The legal status and license details were verified by Valeriia Prykhodko, our in-house lawyer.

We did not create an account, submit documents or make a deposit. The check consisted of analyzing the domains, license details, availability of the rules, public support tests and payment cases.

The mismatch between domains is a problem in its own right. Different addresses list different legal entities and different license numbers, and the Ukrainian-language version contains rules from the year before last and an 18+ age limit, even though gambling in Ukraine is only allowed from the age of 21.

Support speed is based on six public tests: results ranged from under one minute to seven minutes, with an average first reply time of 2 minutes 55 seconds. But a quick connection did not guarantee that a financial problem would be solved.

KYC. In two public cases, verification took 1 and 15 minutes, for an average of 8 minutes. However, after the first successful check the operator could request documents again and put a payout on hold indefinitely.

The gap between the median (6.5 hours) and the arithmetic mean (66 hours) is the key figure of this review. It shows that speed depends not on the method but on KYC, the amount, the payment gateway and the security team’s decision. In other words, there is no way to predict how long your own payout will take.

The JoyFactory verdict: the technical platform works, but the legal information is contradictory across domains, a valid offshore certificate has not been confirmed, and payout times vary far too widely. A real deposit test would be unsafe and pointless.

Legal status and the main risk

On pages associated with the brand, the operator is named as 1win N.V., registered in Curaçao under number 147039. Part of the payment processing is linked to MFI Investments Limited, a Cypriot company.

The license most often cited is number 8048/JAZ2018-040, issued under the old Antillephone N.V. system. Some materials also mention number 1668/JAZ, which adds to the confusion.

JoyFactory lawyer Valeriia Prykhodko highlights a key change: since December 24, 2024, Curaçao has had a new licensing system, LOK. Old sublicense certificates are no longer sufficient proof of valid status: a legal operator must hold a current Curaçao Gaming Authority certificate and separately approved domains.

During our check, we could not find a valid CGA certificate for 1win N.V. or registration number 147039 in the public register. It is therefore incorrect to call 1win a casino with a confirmed valid Curaçao license: the claim appears on many third-party websites, but it cannot be verified.

The brand has no Ukrainian license. The Ukrainian regulator has identified domains linked to 1win as resources that provide access to gambling without a state license.

Another problem is the 18+ age limit stated on some regional pages. In Ukraine, gambling is only allowed from the age of 21.

Verification and document risk

1. Creating an account. Depending on the version of the platform, you can sign up with a phone number, an e-mail address, a social network or a simplified one-click form.
2. Choosing a currency. The account currency is set when the profile is created. Changing it after registration may be impossible without opening a new account.
3. KYC. Before a payout, the operator may request a passport, a selfie, proof of address, bank card verification and proof of the source of funds.

The key point: being able to deposit without prior verification does not mean that a withdrawal will also go through without documents. According to public cases, the KYC request appears precisely after a big win or the first cashout request.

Automatic document checks sometimes finish within minutes. At the same time, there are repeated requests for the same files, manual reviews with no set deadline and payouts blocked until the procedure is complete.

A separate risk worth weighing. Handing over your passport, a selfie and payment details to an offshore platform without a Ukrainian license creates an additional threat: the Ukrainian regulator does not control how these documents are stored and used, and there will be nowhere to complain if they leak.

1win casino bonuses

The main advertised offer is up to 500% on the first four deposits:

• 200% on the first deposit;
• 150% on the second;
• 100% on the third;
• 50% on the fourth.

A big percentage does not make a bonus worthwhile. Let’s do the maths: with a UAH 5000 bonus and x40 wagering, you need to place bets totaling UAH 200,000 before the remainder moves to your main balance. For comparison, x35–x40 wagering also occurs at licensed Ukrainian casinos, but there you at least have a regulator to turn to.

Cashback and loyalty

The platform advertises cashback of up to 30%. The actual percentage depends on turnover, the amount lost, the account status and the current promotion: reaching the top tier may require turnover in the millions of hryvnias.

The loyalty program uses an internal currency, 1win Coin. Points are awarded for bets on slots, in-house games and the sportsbook: roughly one point for every UAH 300 of turnover. An exchange may require at least 1000 coins, and the exact rate and rewards depend on the region and profile level.

Game library

Slots

The exact number of games cannot be independently confirmed: different brand pages give figures from 4000 to more than 10,000, and some regional versions claim around 7500 titles. Such a spread in official materials says a lot in itself.

The library mentions Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Playson, Play’n GO, BGaming, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Yggdrasil, Relax Gaming, Red Tiger, 3 Oaks Gaming and other studios.

Games are sorted by category, provider and popularity: new releases, jackpots, Drops & Wins, bonus buy slots and themed collections. Most machines have a demo mode that requires no real-money bets.

Live casino

The live section offers roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker and game shows streamed in real time. The listed suppliers include Evolution and other international live studios.

Rounds run continuously, and limits depend on the specific table: there are both low-stakes tables and VIP formats. Demo mode is usually not available in the live casino.

Fast games and 1win Games

A separate section features more than 300 crash, instant and arcade games. The best-known title is Aviator, where the multiplier grows until the round ends at a random moment. You can place two bets at once and close them at different moments, while auto cashout lets you set the exit multiplier in advance.

The platform has its own 1win Games section with exclusive crash, arcade, wheel and instant games that are not available in independent providers’ catalogs.

We found no detailed public RTP reports, certification for each in-house title or independent audits of 1win Games. This makes their math model hard to assess: unlike games from well-known providers, there is nothing to check the return against.

RTP and fairness

There is no single confirmed average RTP for the whole library. For third-party slots, the figure is set by the provider and is usually shown in the help menu.

The operator claims that its random number generator has been tested by iTech Labs. Even if such a certificate exists, it confirms that the software has been tested, but it does not replace an operator license and does not guarantee a payout to any particular player.

Deposits and withdrawals

The rules require withdrawals to be made using the same method as the deposit. If you change the method, the operator may request additional documents or reject the request.

Crypto payouts arrive in 5–15 minutes in some cases, and card payouts sometimes go through within an hour. But public complaints from 2026 include requests that stayed in processing for 12 hours, four days and about 12 days. There are also cases where a transaction was marked as successful but the money never arrived.

About taxes. 1win is not a Ukrainian tax agent, so taxes are not withheld automatically under Ukrainian rules. The user may have to declare foreign income on their own, which is another difference from licensed operators, where 23% is withheld automatically.

Apps and mirrors

For Android, an APK file is offered that has to be downloaded outside Google Play. Apps for iOS and Windows and a responsive browser version are also mentioned. Features include the casino, live games, betting, bonuses, the cashier and support, and one account syncs across the browser and the apps.

The main risk is the large number of mirrors and websites that call themselves official. An APK from a fake resource may contain malicious code or steal payment details.

We do not recommend installing the 1win app from an alternative domain, a Telegram channel or a file-sharing service. Without a trusted app store and a valid license, it is practically impossible to tell the official file from a modified one, and with legal details contradicting each other across domains, it is not even clear which resource should be considered official.

Tournaments and promotions

The platform runs slot tournaments, Drops & Wins, leaderboards and prize draws, with some campaigns advertising prize pools of up to UAH 500,000. There are also reload bonuses, personal offers by e-mail and SMS, a bonus for installing the app and regular cashback.

Before taking part, check the wagering, activation period, maximum bet, eligible games and withdrawal restrictions: these parameters change from domain to domain.

Support

The main channel is 24/7 live chat. Brand pages list the e-mail addresses [email protected], [email protected] and others that vary by domain.

The phone number 8 (800) 301-77-89 is not a Ukrainian hotline: for users in Ukraine, the international call may be charged or unavailable.

Across six public tests, the average first reply time was 2 minutes 55 seconds, ranging from under a minute to seven minutes. But in financial disputes, support often forwards the request to the payments or security department without giving a specific deadline.

Common complaints about 1win casino

The main complaints according to public sources:

• repeated verification after a withdrawal request: you can deposit and play without KYC, but after a win receive a request for your passport, a selfie, a bank statement and proof of income;
• slow cashout processing: fast payouts coexist with cases taking 12 hours, several days or more than a week;
• fully verified accounts being blocked;
• template support replies with no deadlines;
• transactions marked “successful” that never reached the account;
• bonuses and related winnings cancelled because of high wagering and restrictions on games and maximum bets.

Final rating

1win has a large game library, in-house games and a wide choice of payment methods, which is why it scores high for game selection and apps. The rating is critically lowered by the lack of a Ukrainian license, the unconfirmed current Curaçao status, reliance on mirrors, demanding bonus requirements and complaints about delayed payouts.

About the methodology. Operators without a Ukrainian license are rated on a separate scale: the maximum possible safety score for them is lower than for licensed operators, and this is built into the methodology on purpose. 1win is not part of our ranking of licensed casinos.
