GGBet bookmaker is an international betting brand that has been operating since 2016 and has been legally accepting bets in Ukraine since 2023. The Ukrainian platform, ggbet.ua, is run by GGBET LLC, based in Kyiv. The bookmaker specializes in esports but also offers markets on football, tennis, basketball, hockey, combat sports and other traditional sports.
The JoyFactory team created an account, deposited our own money, analyzed the betting line on 30 events, measured the margin, placed bets, requested a withdrawal and contacted support. Below is the actual data we recorded on August 5, 2026.

GGBet bookmaker is best suited to players who regularly bet on CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends and other esports. Its main advantage is a deep esports line with markets on individual maps, rounds and in-game events. The main drawback is that traditional sports get less attention: lower-tier football matches have half as many markets as top games.

Betting line analysis. We checked 30 events: 12 football matches, 8 tennis matches and 10 esports matches.
Bet acceptance. A UAH 100 pre-match bet on a football match was accepted on the first attempt. A UAH 100 live bet on a CS2 match was accepted without any change to the selected odds. This matters, because some bookmakers shift the odds in live betting at the moment you confirm.
GGBet’s strongest point turned out to be its esports line, and its weakest the number of markets on lower-tier football events.
Betting operations in Ukraine are run by GGBET LLC, registered in Kyiv. The license was issued on August 23, 2023 under decision No. 128 of August 8, 2023; its initial term is five years, until August 2028.
A separate decision, No. 129 of August 8, 2023, covers the GGBet online casino. That is why sports betting and the casino work within one personal account, share a balance and use a single identification procedure.
At the time the license was issued, the market was regulated by KRAIL (Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries); after KRAIL was dissolved, oversight passed to the PlayCity State Agency. The official Ukrainian domain is ggbet.ua. JoyFactory lawyer Valeriia Prykhodko points out that, despite the similar spelling, the bookmaker has nothing to do with the GGPoker poker brand.
The rules prohibit multiple accounts, handing a profile over to another person, and using bots or third-party software to automate betting. For violations, the bookmaker may block the account and void bonuses, bets and withdrawal requests.
One clause lowers the reliability score: the rules allow the bookmaker to reduce the maximum stake, the number of repeat bets and the availability of certain markets on an individual basis. This is standard market practice, but it means that a winning player may face restrictions.
After creating an account, the user also enters their full name, gender and date of birth. Full verification is usually required before the first payout, and a manual document check can take from a few hours to two or three business days.
A mistake in your surname, date of birth or document number can put a payout on hold. Deposits and withdrawals are only allowed through a card or account that belongs to the profile holder.
The margin is the bookmaker’s built-in profit, and it is what determines how good the odds are. Our measurements are below.

These figures are average for the Ukrainian market: acceptable for regular betting, but not the best odds available. There is a clear pattern: the margin grows from top football to niche markets and rises sharply in live betting.
The paradox of GGBet is that esports is its main specialty in terms of market depth, yet the margin on esports is higher than on football. In other words, the choice of markets is widest exactly where the odds are less favorable.
The pre-match line covers more than 30 sports. The traditional part includes football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, hockey, boxing, MMA, handball, baseball, rugby, motorsport, snooker, futsal, chess, water polo and American football.

It is on lower-tier events that GGBet falls behind all-round bookmakers with wider coverage of traditional sports. Half the markets of a top match is a figure worth keeping in mind if you bet on lower divisions.
This is the bookmaker’s main specialty. The line includes CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, StarCraft II, Overwatch, Warcraft III, Call of Duty, Hearthstone, FIFA, PUBG, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six, World of Tanks and other titles.
Besides the match winner, you can bet on individual maps, the correct score, total rounds, first tower, first Roshan, first kill or the pistol round winner. In our measurement, a single CS2 match had 72 betting options, the deepest esports line among the bookmakers we have tested.
The live section is especially rich in esports: 10–15 matches in CS2, Dota 2, FIFA and other titles can be available at the same time. Odds change after kills, won rounds, destroyed objectives and changes in the map score.
A live football match usually offers about 20–25 markets, a tennis match 25–30. During a dangerous attack, a penalty, a VAR review or a match point, bet acceptance is temporarily suspended.
Some events have live streams, which open after you register and log in; you can follow the stats and place bets while watching the video.
Cash Out is not available for every bet: its amount depends on the current score, the odds and the state of the market. The bet builder is supported only for some popular football matches.

x17 wagering is a noticeably softer condition than at most competitors. But there is a catch that offsets it: only singles at odds of 1.75 or higher count toward wagering. Accumulators, system bets, refunds and cancelled events do not count, so you will have to build up turnover with a series of single bets.
Important: if you request a withdrawal before wagering is complete, the active bonus amount may be voided.
Previously, completing full verification earned a UAH 400 no-deposit bonus with x22 wagering and a five-day validity period. Since April 1, 2025, Law No. 4116-IX has prohibited no-deposit bonuses as an incentive to gamble, so check the operator’s personal account to see whether this offer is still available. In sports betting, only singles at odds of 1.75 or higher count here as well.
Mobile app users may have access to separate offers with bonus bets. The bookmaker also runs promotions for major football tournaments, CS2, Dota 2, Valorant and other titles.

This cannot be checked in a short test, as restrictions are applied to accounts with a long profitable history. Such cases are mentioned in public complaints, but we could not confirm a systematic pattern.
GGBet bookmaker offers native apps for Android and iOS. The iPhone version is installed from the App Store, and the Android app is downloaded from the official website as an APK file.

Mobile navigation is especially convenient for esports: titles and tournaments have their own categories, and events can be added to favorites. With a large number of live markets, the page can look cluttered.

When the JoyFactory team got in touch, an agent joined after 2 minutes 45 seconds. They correctly explained the x17 wagering terms and confirmed that only singles at odds of 1.75 or higher count toward wagering. The answer was specific, without redirecting us to a generic FAQ.
During a financial or KYC check, support cannot always give an exact timeframe, as the final decision is made by a separate payments or verification department.

GGBet is a strong Ukrainian bookmaker for esports betting, with a legal license, the deepest CS2 line in our sample and a fast payout in our test. The score is lowered by an average margin, less depth in traditional sports, a limited choice of payment methods and the bookmaker’s right to cut limits on an individual basis.
