JoyFactory is an independent review project. We are not a gambling operator, we do not accept bets and we do not process payments. Our income comes from affiliate commissions, and this page explains how that works and where we draw the line between monetization and ratings.
How We Make Money
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you follow one of them and register with an operator, we may receive a commission. For you, nothing changes: registration terms, bonuses and exchange rates are the same no matter where you came from.
Affiliate links are marked with buttons such as “Play” or “Visit site” and always lead to the operator’s official domain. Technically, they carry the nofollow attribute and open in a new tab.
We do not charge users, we do not sell access to our content and we do not show ad banners from third-party networks.
What the Partnership Does Not Change
Positions in our rankings are not for sale. An operator’s position is determined by a score made up of six criteria with weights set in advance. The procedure is described in our methodology and is the same for everyone.
We do not change a score at an operator’s request and we do not remove documented shortcomings from a review. If a payout test showed a delay, it will be in the review whether or not there is an affiliate agreement.
Having an affiliate program is not a condition for getting into the ranking. Our reviews include operators we do not work with, and, conversely, a partnership does not protect anyone from a low score or from being blacklisted.
An operator without a valid license does not get into the main ranking under any commercial terms.
How We Select Operators
Testing comes first, partnership second, never the other way around. We go through the full testing cycle, assign scores, and only then decide on affiliate links. If an operator fails the check, its affiliate program does not exist for us.
We do not publish texts supplied by operators as our own reviews. Advertising materials, if they ever appear on the site, will be labeled separately.
Why We Write About This
The affiliate model is standard for review projects in this niche. The problem is not the model itself but the fact that most sites do not disclose it, and readers cannot tell why one operator ended up in first place and another in tenth.
We believe you have the right to know about our commercial interest before you click a button. That is why an affiliate disclosure appears on every page with affiliate links, above the first button rather than in small print at the bottom.
Questions and Complaints
If you believe a particular score was influenced by a commercial relationship, write to us. We will show you the data behind the score: a register extract, test screenshots and the relevant clauses of the operator’s rules.
If you notice an unmarked affiliate link or content that looks like hidden advertising, let us know as well. You can reach us through the contacts page.
