Valeriia Prykhodko is responsible for the legal review of materials at JoyFactory. She does not write casino or bookmaker reviews herself: her role is to assess how accurately the author has described the license, bonus terms, verification, data processing and responsible gambling requirements.

She reviews both areas of the site: the section on licensed operators, which covers PlayCity permits and Ukrainian regulation, and the section on platforms without a Ukrainian license, where she assesses how accurately foreign jurisdictions are described and how legal warnings are worded. What she checks in our materials

The main focus is on legally significant statements, that is, those a reader might take as a guarantee.

If a review says a casino is licensed, she checks the details of the operator, the regulator, and the license number and status. If a bonus is described, she checks the wagering, activation periods, bet limits, excluded games and grounds for voiding the reward. Any discrepancy between an advertising promise on the operator’s website and the actual rules is recorded separately.

Next come KYC and AML procedures, withdrawal rules, the privacy policy and how user data is processed. She also checks separately whether the material could mislead the reader and whether it contains the necessary warnings about age restrictions and the risks of gambling.

Valeriia Prykhodko is a lawyer with more than nine years of hands-on experience. She specializes in legal support for projects in IT, intellectual property, iGaming, media production and film distribution.

In iGaming, she handles legal issues that directly affect the legality and safety of operators: licensing, KYC and AML requirements, personal data protection, rules for advertising campaigns and compliance with responsible gambling principles. She assesses not only the content of documents, but also how well the terms stated by an operator match the current rules and how the platform actually works.

Her experience in IT and intellectual property helps her deal with questions about the use of software, content, trademarks and other copyrighted works. Her practice in media production and film distribution added work with licenses, contracts and rights to use materials.
